About Xidian University
Xidian University, founded in 1931, is a key university directly under China's Ministry of Education. It features electronic and information disciplines, with the coordinated development of disciplines in engineering, science, management, liberal arts, economics and more. In the 2025 U.S. News World University Rankings, it ranks 487th and has 2 ESI Top Disciplines; among them, Computer Science ranks 5th globally and 3rd domestically, while Engineering ranks 71st globally. Covering an area of approximately 270 hectares, the university has 19 schools and over 2,800 faculty and staff members. It has over 350,000 graduates in total, with its alumni including 28 academicians and over 70 founders of well-known listed companies.
